Yarra Yering Agincourt Cabernet Malbec Yarra Valley 2013
Region: Victoria
Sub Region: Yarra Valley,
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec
Country: Australia
Vintage: 2013
The Wine
Fruit was sourced from the Agincourt block of Cabernet sauvignon planted in 1995 and Malbec planted in 1990. The Agincourt block is one of the more sheltered sites and this Cabernet clone is highly aromatic and lifted. Established in 1969 by Dr Bailey Carrodus, Yarra Yering’s first vintage was 1973 producing the first vintage of Dry Red Wine No. 1 and Dry Red Wine No. 2.
Cellaring: Drinking beautifully at present and made to be approachable when young but it will also continue to evolve in good cellaring conditions.
Cellared Says
From private cellar. Low neck, no seepage. Cork Seal
